How and when am I paid my affiliate commission?
Link your site to
Scottish-Heirloom.com and earn 5% on every purchase (before shipping & taxes) your visitors make on every item we carry. You are also paid for return customers for the next 100 days!
Within 30 days following the end of each calendar month you will receive a check or payment via PayPal for the commission fee earned on eligible products that were shipped during that month, less any taxes that we are required by law to withhold. However, if the fees payable to you for any calendar month are less than $50 USD, we may withhold those fees until the total amount due is at least $50 USD.
Do I earn commission on the tax and shipping of a product?
Your commission will be based on the price of the product, not the tax or shipping fees.
How much can I earn?
We can't predict how much you will earn from the Scottish Heirloom Jewelry Affiliate Network, since we don't know anything about your website or visitors.
Can I order products for myself through my affiliate link to you?
When you buy products from us through your website, you earn the same commission on your purchase that you would from a visitor purchase.
How will I earn commission?
When a user clicks on a link in your website with reference to your affiliate ID number and transferred to
Scottish-Heirloom.com, our website will place a cookie that tracks for any sales generated. The user does not need to place an order immediately. The cookie is in effect for
100 days(!) and any sales generated within this period will be eligible for affiliate commission.
How do I get paid?
We use the Internet's most trusted 3rd party payment provider,
PayPalTM, to credit your affiliate commissions. Paypal's advanced payment systems ensure that you can have funds transferred to most banks very rapidly.

How much commission do I receive?
The affiliate commission is currently set to 5% of any orders resulting from your referral.
How long from the completed transaction until I receive credit?
There is a 30 day waiting period on all transactions before your account is credited with the commission. This helps us ensure that the payment settlement goes through without any problems and that the likelihood of returns or charge backs is much smaller.

Do I have to meet a minimum amount in order to get paid?
Yes. Partners receive a check every month that their commissions total more than $50. Monthly commissions below $50 are rolled over and added to the following month's commissions.
What if I don't meet the $50 minimum?
Any amount under $50 at the end of the month will be rolled over into the next month's earnings. For example, if your generated commission in a given month is $12, this amount will be credited to your affiliate account and added to your next month's earnings.
Do my visitors have to make a purchase on their first visit in order for me to get credit?
No. When your visitors come to
Scottish-Heirloom.com, we place a cookie on their computer showing that you referred them to us. This cookie lasts for 100 days. If they make a purchase within those 100 days, we still credit you for sending them to us. As long as you are still an active affiliate, we will pay you commissions for the purchases made by these visitors.
Why did a pending sale credited to my account not become a confirmed sale?
The most likely reasons for this are that the customer's credit card payment was rejected, the order was cancelled or the item was returned within the 30 day period.
Can I get a store credit instead of a check?
Yes. If you wish to use your affiliate commissions to purchase items from
Scottish-Heirloom.com, you can ask us for a gift certificate for the amount of accumulated affiliate commission.
Do I have to reach sales quotas I can earn commissions?
No. Unlike some other programs we do not have quotas, and you will earn a commission on the very first person who clicks through to us from your site and makes a purchase.
How often can I check my commissions?
You may check the status of your account 24/7. Simply go to the special link we provide that takes you to your account, enter your user ID and password, and you have instant access to your account.
How soon after someone I refer buys something will it appear on my account statement?
Instantly. Every order we receive is automatically run through our Scottish Heirloom Jewelry Affiliate Network, which checks to see if the shopper came to us through an affiliate. If the shopper came through your site that information is noted and the sale is attached to your account. Your commission is instantly credited and the information is posted to your account.
